Thanks for visiting our website and exploring Manland with us.
Our dream of having property in the country finally became reality a couple of years ago. Manland, as we call it, has become a destination of peace, tranquility and relaxation for us, our family and our friends. Whether you like hiking, fishing, camping, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, watching wildlife or just "kicking back", it can all be done here . Between miles of roads and paths, a stocked pond, a small lake and over 100 acres of woodlands with direct access to the Flint river , everybody can find something to do. If boredom sets in however, our killer goose along with our chickens and our cuddly puppy "Bear" can keep you company.
We are staunch supporters of our Second Amendment rights and proudly exercise those freedoms on our rifle and pistol range. We have multiple target systems with our furthest berm at 100 yards and a covered bench rest at the zero yard line. Our targets include standard paper, reactive resets, dueling trees and gongs. Safety is absolutely paramount and range cleanup is mandatory. A detailed range briefing is required prior to your initial visit. Please see our Manland Outfitters link if you need the services of a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) to transfer any weapon you may have purchased over the internet, from a third party or another dealer.
We show our sincere appreciation to our friends and neighbors for their fellowship and support on or about every July 4th. We have a gathering that we affectionately call "Boomfest" that includes fireworks, hayrides, games and food with drink. This started a couple of years ago as a small family outing and has grown to a fairly large gathering with some really great neighbors and friends from both Peachtree City, Brooks and surrounding areas in attendance. The latest information is always available on the Boomfest link.
We openly allow scout groups, church groups and family outings on our property. We do this as a community service and as a way of paying back for the many blessings that our family has received over the years. All that we ask is that you leave Manland better than you found it and let us know if something did not go as planned.
Because we are a nationally certified tree farm with needed agricultural operations and maintenance evolutions, scheduling issues and conflicts sometimes arise and may interfere with the best laid plans. This has caused us to utilize a calendar that is available via our calendar link. It’s a standard Google format that anyone can access. If you desire an event or activity or need access to Manland please enter your desires via our contacts link or our message boards link. We will do whatever we can to accommodate you. If possible, please try your best not to show up unannounced.
Thanks again for visiting our website and please enjoy our little slice of heaven in the country!
